Store Manager - Mountain Mill / Worcester

As a Store Manager, you and your team are the first and main point of contact for our customers, which is a very
important role to fulfil!

Key deliverables:
 Manage customer relationships to deliver consistently outstanding customer service
 Drive a consistent customer centric culture within the store
 Demonstrate mature leadership skills to recruit, train and develop one of our     most important resources – our people
 Develop a high-performance team and culture, focusing on ownership,                accountability and performance
 Drive team and business performance in line with Company Values
 Contribute to and ensure the successful execution of the company’s strategic objectives
 Manage and improve the stores profit and loss to achieve agreed financial objectives
 Develop and manage annual operational budgets and projections
 Achieving and exceeding targets
 Manage the day to day store operations
 Identify and act on new business opportunities
 Exercise exceptional entrepreneurial and commercial thinking to drive sales and overall store performance
 Consistent delivery of all agreed KPI’s including sales and profit growth, expenses-to-turnover ratio and shrinkage

Qualifications and Core Competencies:
 Matric certificate
 Tertiary qualification (advantageous)
 Minimum of 3-5 years working experience at a Senior Management level (leader of managers)
 Proven track record of managing large teams of 20+ employees
 Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
 Strong team leadership, planning and organisational skills.
 Able to drive change and persuade and influence both internal and external stakeholders
 A high level of maturity, emotional intelligence and insight into diverse teams and individuals
 Strong entrepreneurial and analytical skills
 Experience in dealing with and managing Employee Relations

This position has a direct report into the Store Manager and will suit an individual who is a strategic thinker and has a passion for retail. This individual will be expected to multitask, innate friendliness, and motivate employees to exceed targets. It is expected that this person has a proven track record of success, target driven and has sufficient experience in managing teams of people.

Key deliverables:
 Managing a shift of 3+ employees.
 Capturing daily banking.
 Merchandising and receiving of stock.
 Handling customer requests and complaints promptly.
 Managing customer relationships.
 Achieving and exceeding store targets.

Key relationships:
 Store Manager

Qualifications and Core Competencies:
 Matric certificate.
 1-3 years’ contactable experience in a retail supervisory position.
 Proven track record of managing teams of 4+.
 Excellent communication skills.
 Strong team leadership, planning and organisational skills.
 Have consistently delivered results above industry norms.
