Peggity's Toy Store moves to the V&A Waterfront where it has since become an institution for locals and tourists alike.
2000
CEO David Tredinnick takes over, bringing a wealth of retail experience, especially in terms of finance and buying.
2004
Peggity’s opens Pastimes at the V&A Waterfront; its first speciality hobbyist store.
2005
Peggity’s goes through a transformation to create an immersive, theatrical experience, and “Your Toy Kingdom” is unveiled.
2007
The first Toy Kingdom emporium store is opened in the V&A waterfront. The first of many. Toy stores that provide a magical experience, and product demonstrations bring toys to life.
2016
We acquired the Build-A-Bear Workshop Franchise for South Africa, adding even more fun and heart to the Toy Kingdom brand.
