Definitions

The terms “Toy Kingdom”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Toy Kingdom (Pty) Ltd.

The terms “website” and “platform” refer to toykingdom.co.za , which is owned and operated by Toy Kingdom (Pty) Ltd.

The terms “you” and “your” mean any user of this website.

The terms “content” and “feedback” refer to all the software and code comprising or used to operate this website or mobile application, and all of the text, photographs, images, illustrations, graphics, sound recordings, video and audio-video clips, and other materials available on this platform.

“POPIA” refers to the Protection of Personal Information Act which identifies personal information as information relating to an identifiable, living, natural person, and where it is applicable, an identifiable, existing juristic person.

The terms “Automatic Anonymous Information” and “AAI” refer to information we collect through this online platform that does not identify you personally. One example of AAI is your IP address.

The term “Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII” means information about you that could permit one to identify or contact you. Examples of PII include your name, address, and email address.

Terms & Conditions of Sale

By purchasing any products on toykingdom.co.za, you agree to the following terms:
This is a legally-binding contract, and Toy Kingdom will retain the title owner of the products until full payment has been made by you and has been received by Toy Kingdom.

Toy Kingdom reserves the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at its discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you.

Our products may not be purchased for resale, and should we suspect this for any reason, we are entitled to cancel your order immediately on notice to you. We also reserve the right to limit the quantities of items purchased.

If you are under eighteen (18) and wish to purchase any product online, you may use the website only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.

Copyright & Trademark Laws

All images, designs and content of this website are the property of either Toy Kingdom or the manufacturing trademark of the products.

The use of this content by you, or any other unauthorised party, is prohibited and may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, the laws of privacy and publicity, and communications regulations and statutes.

Representations and Warranties

Toy Kingdom shall take all reasonable steps to ensure the quality and accuracy of content available on the website, but assumes no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in this content.

Your Account

Please ensure your details are correct and complete, and inform us immediately of any changes to the information provided when registering.
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account and password, and for restricting access to your devices to prevent unauthorised access. You accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Please inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe your account has been breached.

Refund policies

You may return any unwanted product to us, provided it meets the following criteria:

• The item is undamaged,
• unworn,
• in its original packaging,
• accompanied by the original purchase receipt, and
• was purchased at a Toy Kingdom store, Build-A-Bear Workshop, or online at toykingdom.co.za

We reserve the right to reject the return of products that are not returned in accordance with this policy procedure. We may request that you pay delivery charges to return such goods back to you.

Should you miss your delivery 3 times, your parcel will be sent back to the warehouse for a refund or online voucher.

Items marked as “SALE” will be refunded or exchange to the value of the sale price paid.

For credit card and EFT refunds, different banking institutions have different lead times and can take 3-13 working days to reflect in your account.

Promotional Codes and Discount Codes

Toy Kingdom may make promotional codes available to customers who may use these to obtain a discount on a purchase. Please note that specific terms and conditions apply and regulate when and how promotional codes may be used.

The following terms and conditions apply standard to Toy Kingdom promotional codes:

• Discount and promotional codes are only valid for one purchase by one user.


• Discount codes must be applied at checkout when placing your order – they cannot be applied after the order has been confirmed.


• Unless specified otherwise, discount codes may not be applied to items already on sale or in conjunction with other discounts or promotions.


• All promotions and discount codes are valid for a limited period and may be subject to expire without prior notification.


• Discount codes are not refundable. Any items bought with a discount applied will be refunded the value of the payment applied to the items, and the promo code will not be reinstated for the value applied to the item. We may reissue a discount if the item is refunded due to an error caused by Toy Kingdom or a product defect.

Royalty Club

As a Royalty Club Member, you earn Royalty Points each time you spend over R25.00 on our website, in a Toy Kingdom store, or a Build-A-Bear Workshop that you can redeem on your next purchase.

For every R25.00 spent with us, you earn one Royalty Point. Each Royalty Point is equivalent to R1.00 which you can redeem as a discount on a future purchase.

Royalty Points are not available as cash back, and cannot be transferred to other customers. Points are only valid for one (1) year from the date of acquisition, after which they will expire.

Points can be earned online or in-store at any Toy Kingdom or Build-A-Bear Workshop, however, you will not earn additional points for any portion of your purchase made with existing points.

Royalty Club members are automatically signed up for the Toy Kingdom newsletter which includes various offers, promotions, events and franchise news. You may unsubscribe from this mailing list at any time.

By signing up for our newsletter, you’ll also automatically become part of our Royalty Club. This means you start earning points instantly on all qualifying purchases and will receive exclusive member deals and insights.

Toy Kingdom reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this loyalty program or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason that Toy Kingdom reasonably deems necessary.

Gift Cards

Gift cards can be used to purchase any Toy Kingdom or a Build-A-Bear Workshop product from toykingdom.co.za, and are currently only redeemable online.

They are valid for 3 years after the date of issue, or will expire when you reach a zero (nil) balance, whichever occurs first. Any remaining balance on the gift card will not be redeemable in cash.

Toy Kingdom may revise these Terms & Conditions at any time and will update our users accordingly. If you disagree with any of the changes, you must cease using this website or these changes will apply to you.
